Minimum Wage
We need to increase the minimum wage for all. Right now, the minimum wage is $7.25 per hour and has not increased since 2008 when it had gone up from $6.55 to $7.25, and it went up only $0.70 since 2008! And it plans to stay at $7.25 for years more to come.
Unless we step up and let our voices stand. Citizens should have a say in the United States Senate. And I will make sure that you have your voices heard. It is a human right to survive, and currently, with Utah is planning to keep the minimum wage at $7.25 and let the citizens of the state suffer, I plan to change this. I propose that we raise the minimum to $15 an hour; this will help all survive and live on a minimum wage; this will be one of the first policies I will fight for as serving as your Senator. Think of the endless opportunities we can fight for if we come together, there is nothing we cannot do when it comes to this country and its citizens.
My proposal
  • Increase Minimum Wage to $15 per hour.
  • Let the citizens have their voices heard in the United States Senate.
  • Initiate a vote petition for the people to vote.
  • Increase the overall payroll for wage and salary employees by 10 percent.
Increase Minimum Wage to $15 Per Hour
Some states have already passed a minimum wage to $15 an hour, as Utah will be last; this can change, and we can fight for a minimum wage of $15.00 an hour; this will help the citizens of this state survive. Right now, there is a single mother of 6 struggling to feed her children as she is living on a minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. One of the reasons we live in poverty is the minimum wage and where it currently stands. We need to change this and fight for a living wage. Since 2008, the minimum wage has not changed, and according to the state of Utah, it plans to stay at $7.25 an hour for at least a few more years. But what will happen when it does increase? It may increase from $7.25 to $7.50 we do not know as we are all kept in the dark. But the darkness does not have to take over. We can fight for a living wage of at least $15 an hour and afford to put food on the table for our families and more community spending. Please stand with me, and let's fight!
Letting The Citizens have their voices heard
The Utahns have not been heard or have their voices stand on the issues that matter, for far, way too long. As a senator, I will make sure that you're voices are heard! Every step of the way, I will let Utahns vote on what should change in our state. As your senator, I will get the job done, what needs to get done. We need a Senator who will work for the people, not the government and their allies. The current U.S. Senator for Utah, Mike Lee, has not gotten done what he was elected to do. We need to select someone who will get things done in the senate. And you, the 'people,' should be represented and focus on the issues that matter most to Utahns.
Initiate a Voting Petition for the People To Vote
Mike Lee likes to do things that he believes that this state needs, and he has done absolutely nothing. Setting up a voting petition will allow people to vote for what needs to get done; this is a way for them to get their voices heard. I promise that I will set a voting petition for Utahns to vote on what needs to get done in the Senate; I will then argue for it to get passed. With Republicans taking the Senate, nothing will get done. We need to elect someone who will get these things done. Let the people vote!
Increasing the overall Payroll For Wage and Salary
Let me first start by saying that the minimum wage has sat at $7.25 for almost 13 years. Since 2008! A year after that is when Mike Lee has got elected into office. Ask yourself: "If Mike Lee is re-elected in 2022, how much longer will the minimum wage stay the same?"; this is only a question you can answer.
As your senator, I will work for you, the people. We will increase this minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour; this will help many families and communities. Our people will have a minimum wage to survive. I cannot begin to imagine what a single mother of 6 living on a minimum wage of $7.25 would be like; people do not need to be living in poverty. We should have 'freedom,' freedom to be whom we want to be, freedom to do the things we want to do. I will help those in need, and those are the citizens of Utah. This state will never reach a minimum of $15 unless we step up and fight for it. I am asking you, 'The People,' mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, sons, daughters, to stand with me and let's fight in 2022 and get this wage passed for all Utahns. Together, we are unstoppable. There is no limit to what we can accomplish if we stand together.

Those with a disability of anytype, needs to be treated equally. They need enough resources provided to them that will help them. And this may seem like not much of a proposal or policy. But I believe in our school system giving those with a disability more resource classes. We have special needs classes for those that are special needs. But what I am proposing goes beyond...

Utahns should not have to be living in the streets or trying to make money on the side to live day-by-day in hotels just to have a place to sleep. With housing prices going up and poverty here to stay, we need to make housing affordable for all! Drastically over the past several...
